Originating out of a fun/stupid noise jam on one amp during a No Consensus practice, Panasonic Youth became a sort of second Bwang!, but with less of a guitar-and-drums emphasis, involving more keyboards, found-sound, found-text, etc.

! was originally a 90-minute cassette containing what is here the track titled "!1" on side 1 and the track "!2" on the like-named album on side 2.
